are effective July 1, 2007.
What sticker do I need??
$4.50 Sticker is used for bulky items such as mattresses, box springs,
furniture, toys, tires, computers, TV's etc…
$12.25 Appliance
Sticker is used for refrigerators, stoves, washers, dryers, air conditioners,
etc…
Where can
I purchase the stickers?
Stickers are available at the Public Works Dept. 871 Taunton Avenue
(corner of Rte. 44 & Lake St.) Office hours are 9:00-4:30pm.
When will
the items be picked up??
Most bulky items are picked up on your regular trash collection day.
Special waste/appliances
are picked up on the third Tuesday of the month, the stickers must be
purchased the Friday prior to pick up. Special waste includes TV's,
tires, computers, appliances, and metal items such as gas grills, bicycles
etc….
Another
option available is the purchase of a Bulky Waste Pass. The
prices are; $65 for 3 visits to the landfill and $25 for 1 visit.
