Changes in the Trash & Recycling Program
  • Recyclables – glass, cans and plastic – may be put out together in the same bin!!!! Separation of these items will no longer be necessary.
  • Recyclables are to be placed at the curb by 7AM the day of collection. They must be in a recycling bin or bin-like containers (milk crate, laundry basket). Barrels are not permitted
  • We will now collect # 1-5 plastic. This includes margarine tubs and yogurt containers. NO PLASTIC BAGS.
  • Paper must be separate from other recyclables. Paper must be placed at the curb in bins or paper bags. NO PLASTIC BAGS, NO BARRELS. Cardboard must be flattened to size no larger than 24” X 24”
  • Yard waste will be collected in May, October, November and along with the Christmas trees in January. Yard waste must be at the curb by 7AM the day of collection and must be in paper bags or bundles.
  • The Transfer And Recycling Facility behind the American Legion Hall will be open daily 8-3:30 for recycling and yard waste drop-off as well as the second and fourth Saturday of the month from 8-12 noon.
